


ArmInfo. The Russian Film Festival will take place in Yerevan from February 20 to 22. The event is organized with the support of the Russian Ministry of Culture. Free film screenings will be available to all at the Moscow Cinema. The festival aims to strengthen cultural ties between the two countries.
"Our countries have maintained warm, friendly relations for many years. The screenings of Russian films in Yerevan have become a good tradition, another step towards strengthening cultural cooperation and further creative collaboration," Russian Minister of Culture, Olga Lyubimova, noted. The program will start with a fresh interpretation of the classic fairy tale "Buratino" directed by Igor Voloshin. Additionally, viewers can enjoy the comedic melodrama "Hello to My Husband" by Anton Maslov and the sports drama "First on Olympus" by Artem Mikhalkov. The film tells the story of rower Yuri Tyukalov's path to victory, one of the first Olympic champions in Soviet history.
The program also includes the animated film "Doctor Dinosaur" by Maxim Volkov and the adventure film "The North Pole" by Alexander Kott. The latter is dedicated to the heroic deeds of the Soviet sailors who were the first to reach the North Pole in a nuclear submarine. All films were shot in 2025.
