ArmInfo. At its June 4 meeting, the RA Government announced the summer conscription for mandatory military service in 2026 and demobilization.

ArmInfo. Armenia and the United States have completed the signing of a framework agreement on strategic cooperation under the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP) project. This was announced by Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, who remotely signed the previously initialed document.

ArmInfo. The process of Samvel Karapetyan, leader of the "Strong Armenia" bloc, renouncing his Russian and Cypriot citizenship will be completed after the parliamentary elections in Armenia on June 7, 2026, by the time of his inauguration. Narek Karapetyan, a member of the "Strong Armenia" party council, announced this on Public Television. According to him, the citizenship renunciation is in progress.

ArmInfo. Six hundred applications from Artsakh residents have already been filed with the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) to protect their property seized by Azerbaijan as a result of the occupation of Artsakh. This was announced on his Facebook page by Artak Beglaryan, head of the Artsakh Union public organization and former State Minister of Artsakh and the Nagorno- Karabakh Republic.

ArmInfo.The Armenian authorities have done everything to find themselves at the center of a clash of interests between Russia and the European Union. This was stated by Robert Kocharyan, Armenia's second president and the prime ministerial candidate from the Armenia bloc, in an interview with  Armenia TV.

ArmInfo.  A massive pre-election rally of supporters of the "Strong Armenia" political party began today in the capital's  Republic Square. The event began with a symbolic initiative where participants signed a petition supporting the  introduction of the "Safarov Law"—a proposed legislative act aimed at  prohibiting Azerbaijani nationals from purchasing land and real  estate in the Republic of Armenia.

ArmInfo. Russia is counting on Armenia to make a "historically correct choice" regarding its stance with the European Union (EU) and the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), as stated by Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov on the sidelines of the St.  Petersburg International  Economic Forum (SPIEF) on June 3.

ArmInfo.The leader of the "Prosperous Armenia" party and businessman, Gagik Tsarukyan, has filed a lawsuit against Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.  Tsarukyan is demanding a public apology for remarks labeling him a "foreign agent," as well as total compensation exceeding 9 million  drams.

ArmInfo. Supporters of Samvel Karapetyan's "Strong Armenia" party have launched a pre-election march under the banner "On the Path to Change." Departing from the Mergelyan Research Institute, the demonstrators are heading toward Republic Square, where the party is scheduled to host a major campaign rally this evening at 7:00 PM.

ArmInfo.  The Baku Court of Appeals has begun hearing appeals filed by the defense of Armenian prisoners of war held in an Azerbaijani prison.

ArmInfo.  The Civil Court of Appeals of Armenia has upheld  an appeal by the Migration and Citizenship Service effectively barring Artsakh residents holding  passport code 070 from voting in the upcoming parliamentary elections  on June 7, 2026.

ArmInfo.  The regulatory frameworks established within the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) cannot be extended to members of the European Union, as stated by  Taalatbek Masadykov, Secretary General of the Collective Security  Treaty Organization (CSTO).

ArmInfo. Following the elections, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan will travel to  Moscow for a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.   Pashinyan made this announcment during an election campaign event in  Martuni.
