ArmInfo. Armenia will appoint a liaison officer with the European Union Police Service  (Europol).  According to the press service of the Armenian Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), the agreement was reached during a meeting between Interior Minister Arpine Sargsyan and a delegation led by EU Ambassador to Armenia Vassilis Maragos, as part of a discussion on  cooperation prospects with EU structures Frontex and Europol. The Minister emphasized the importance of  having a liaison officer  to enhance the partnership.

ArmInfo. Russia and Iran will conduct joint naval exercises in the Gulf of Oman and the northern Indian Ocean amid US preparations for a strike on Tehran. The maneuvers will begin on February 19, according to Iranian Navy Admiral Hassan Maqsoodloo. "The goal is to strengthen maritime security and deepen relations between the two countries' navies," the Iranian Navy spokesman said, without specifying when the exercises are expected to conclude.
