ArmInfo.  Since this morning, police have been serving summonses to bishops who are members of the Supreme Spiritual Council, demanding that they appear before the Investigative Committee today as defendants. Lawyer Ara Zohrabyan reported this on his Facebook page.

ArmInfo.  Former Armenian Minister of Culture Hasmik Poghosyan (2006-2016), found guilty by the court of abuse of office and aiding and abetting large-scale fraud, was sentenced to four years and six months in prison. However, she was granted amnesty. This was reported by the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office of Armenia.

ArmInfo.  Armenian Defense Minister Suren Papikyan, with his order to abolish the Spiritual Service of the Armenian Apostolic Church in the country's Armed Forces, violated Article 10 of the Law "On Relations between the  Republic of Armenia and the Armenian Apostolic Holy Church," which  stipulates that the Armenian Apostolic Church has the right to have a  permanent spiritual representative in military units. This was stated  by lawyer Ara Zohrabyan.

ArmInfo.  Defense Minister Suren Papikyan has signed a decree to abolish the spiritual guidance unit within the Ministry of Defense in the Armenian Armed Forces, effective February 1, 2026.
