ArmInfo. The Human Rights Defender (HRD) of Armenia has successfully facilitated a meeting between Hayk Stepanyan, a detainee currently on a hunger strike at  the Nubarashen Penitentiary, and his children, as reported by the  Office of the Human Rights Defender of Armenia.

ArmInfo.  On July 1, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan participated in an international conference dedicated to the Foundation Day of the Prosecutor's Office of the  Republic of Armenia. According to the government press service, the  conference focused on criminal prosecution and the recovery of  illegally acquired assets, The event was attended by National  Assembly Speaker Alen Simonyan, Prosecutor General Anna Vardapetyan,  representatives from the legislative and executive branches, Hanna  Juncker (Director of the Council of Europe's Directorate for  Security, Integrity, and Rule of Law), heads of diplomatic missions,  and international experts.

ArmInfo. If the ruling Civil Contract party of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had declared all of its election campaign expenses, it would have  triggered the application of Article 27 of the Electoral Code, which  mandate the revocation  of a political party's electoral list.  Liparit Drmeyan, a representative of the "Wings of Unity" party, made  this statement on July 1 in his closing remarks at the Constitutional  Court of Armenia.  The Court is currently reviewing petitions from  opposition political forces seeking to annul the results of the  parliamentary elections held on June 7.

ArmInfo. Armenia is currently not conducting any negotiations with Russia on the TRIPP project. Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Armenia Mnatsakan Safaryan  stated this in a conversation with journalists on July 1.

ArmInfo.  A new youth space has opened in the village of Geghakert in the Khoy community of the Armavir region. It will be the sixth such center created in Armenia's  regions under the "Youth in Action: Empowering and Mobilizing Young  People in Armenia" program. ArmInfo. While the Constitutional Court continues to intensively work on lawsuits filed  by seven political forces to invalidate the parliamentary election  results, the ruling Civil Contract party is resolving issues related  to its positions. This was stated by lawyer Aram Vardevanyan,  representing the interests of the opposition "Strong Armenia" bloc in  the Constitutional Court, at a court hearing on July 1.

ArmInfo.  The Armenian authorities do not want the results of the latest parliamentary elections in the  country to be annulled, as they understand they will not be able to  use the same amount of administrative resources to achieve the  desired result if a new electoral process were held.  This was stated  by lawyer Aram Vardevanyan, a representative of the Strong Armenia  bloc, in a conversation with journalists before the final session of  the Constitutional Court, where the election results are being  challenged and after which the court will retire to make a decision.
