ArmInfo. The Armenian leadership has recently taken a number of steps that are inconsistent with the spirit of its  allied relations with Russia, as stated by  Russian Security Council Secretary Sergei Shoigu, according to Russian media.

ArmInfo.Upon completion of the visa liberalization negotiations between Armenia and the EU, Yerevan and Brussels will need to convince the 27 EU member states, as well as a majority of the members of the European Parliament, that the republic is ready for this step.  Johannes Luchner, Deputy Director-General for Migration and Home Affairs of the European Commission, made this statement at a press conference in Yerevan on  visa liberalization between Armenia and the EU.

ArmInfo.In 2016, 7,795 Armenian citizens applied for asylum in the EU, while in 2025, this figure stood at 3,535, a decline of 54.6%, as stated by Arpine Sargsyan, Minister of Internal Affairs, at a press conference in Yerevan on visa liberalization between Armenia and the EU.

ArmInfo.Narek Karapetyan, a board member of the "Strong Armenia" party, assures that, besides Armenian citizenship, he has never held citizenship of any other state.

ArmInfo.The leader of  the "Prosperous Armenia" party, l Gagik Tsarukyan, will use all available legal instruments to protect his own interests, including those related to the Ararat Cement plant, as stated by Iveta Tonoyan,  spokesperson for the "Prosperous Armenia" party, at an urgent press conference on May 20.

Wthin the scope of its authority to protect state (community) interests, the RA Prosecutor's Office has  conducted an investigation into the privatization of the Ararat Cement company, which was alienated by the RA government decree of September 12, 2002.  This was noted in a statement issued by the supervisory body.

ArmInfo.  Parliamentary elections in Armenia must not become a space for division, but rather a platform for responsibility and dignified dialogue, as stated by Arusyak Terchanyan, a member of the Central Electoral Commission (CEC) of Armenia, during a training session in Yerevan on "Combating Hate Speech and Sexism Ahead of Parliamentary Elections in Armenia."

ArmInfo.  The "Strong Armenia" party intends to file lawsuits against all members of the ruling "Civil Contract" party who spread disinformation about members of their political party, as announced by Marianna Ghahramanyan, press secretary of the "Strong Armenia" party.

ArmInfo.  Judging by his statements, RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's situation is indeed very precarious; it's not what it used to be. Gagik Tsarukyan, leader of the Prosperous Armenia Party, told reporters this during the election campaign on May 20, commenting on the latest round of  accusations Pashinyan has leveled against opposition leaders.

ArmInfo.  It is necessary to demand a different model of public communication from Armenian politicians and create a public environment in which it is unacceptable for political forces to use hate speech and incitement to hatred. This was stated by Armenia's Human Rights Defender, Anahit Manasyan, at a training session in Yerevan on "Combating Incitement to Hatred and Sexism Ahead of the Parliamentary Elections in Armenia."

This was stated by Levon Zurabyan, the  Armenian National Congress (ANC) candidate for prime minister in the  upcoming June elections.

ArmInfo. Representatives of a small group of individuals, finally realizing their inevitable defeat in the parliamentary elections, have once again spread disinformation that Narek Karapetyan is a citizen of the Russian Federation. This was written on his Facebook page by David Ghazinyan, former acting  general director of Electric Networks of Armenia CJSC and a member of  the Strong Armenia party board.

ArmInfo.  119 buildings and structures have been dismantled on 42 plots of land on Lake Sevan. The dismantling of illegal structures continues based on petitions from the Prosecutor's Office, according to a statement from the  supervisory body.
