


ArmInfo. Regular consular consultations between the Foreign Ministries of Armenia and Kazakhstan were held at the Armenian Foreign Ministry.
According to the press service of the Armenian Foreign Ministry, the Armenian delegation was led by Artur Petrosyan, Head of the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Kazakh delegation was led by Azamat Aubekov, Director of the Consular Service Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Representatives of the competent government agencies of both countries also participated in the consultations.
The agenda of the consultations included issues related to the implementation of the Vienna Convention on Consular Relations of April 24, 1963, and other agreements, as well as a number of issues related to the rights and legitimate interests of citizens and legal entities of the two countries. The parties emphasized the importance of mutual recognition of digital documents issued by the two countries, as well as the exchange of experience in the digitalization of services.
Following consultations, a protocol was signed between the consular services of the Foreign Ministries of the two countries.
