


ArmInfo.RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan congratulated the Yazidi community on the New Year holiday - Malake Taus.
In its address, distributed by the government press service, it states, in part: "I cordially congratulate you all on the New Year's holiday of Malake Taus.
The Yazidi community is highly respected and loved in the Republic of Armenia. The Yazidis of Armenia are known for their dedication to national identity, work, and traditions, forming an important part of our national identity and representing one of the largest ethnic groups living in the country. Our government desires that the success of the Yazidis of Armenia continue to grow. We are also making large-scale investments in Yazidi settlements, wishing to ensure that, as in the rest of the republic, education is accessible and of high quality, infrastructure is up to standard, social and cultural life develops, and prosperity increases. Today, sharing in the joy of all of you, we declare our readiness to fraternally share the concerns of the Yazidi community and support the resolution of your problems, implementing new programs aimed at preserving and developing the language, culture, and national identity of the Yazidi community.
May the coming year be a blessed one. "a peaceful and fruitful year for the Yazidi community of Armenia and all citizens of our country, a year of success, happiness and abundance."
