ArmInfo. The text of the new Armenian Constitution is not yet ready for publication, as stated by the RA Justice Minister, Srbuhi Galyan, to reporters on April 17.
According to the minister, there hasn't been enough time to consider the text and propose changes and revisions. "Disagreements always arise as we have never made and do not make unilateral decisions. With such a voluminous Constitution, it is impossible for there not to be disagreements," Galyan said. She emphasized that there are several versions of the Constitution's preamble.
When asked whether these versions omit any reference to the Declaration of Independence, the Justice Minister replied: "The text has not yet been published; you will see everything for yourself when it is made public. There are no intrigues."
Recall, Galyan had previously assured that the text of the Constitution would be published in March.
