ArmInfo. The Food Safety Inspectorate of Armenia (FSIA). has seized and destroyed a batch of Nestle's NAN brand baby food, that was found to be unsafe. The relevant video was shared on the agency's official Facebook page.
It is important to note that earlier, information was received that HiPP baby food seized by authorities in Austria, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia was found to contain rat poison following laboratory testings.
Anush Harutyunyan, FSIA spokesperson, told Armenian media that the agency would contact the importer of HiPP products to check if any batches from the same production series where toxic substances were detected (Austria, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia) have been imported to Armenia. If such batches are found, according to Harutyunyan, they will have the same fate as the NAN products.
