


ArmInfo. On April 20, RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan attended the groundbreaking ceremony for the Children's and Youth Sports Complex named after world- renowned boxer Arthur Abraham.
The event was attended by Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan, Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports Zhanna Andreasyan, Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure David Khudatyan, Chairman of the Urban Development Committee Yeghiazar Vardanyan, Arthur Abraham, and others.
According to the government press service, the sports complex is being built in the Shengavit administrative district of Yerevan. Following the project presentation, Prime Minister Pashinyan and Arthur Abraham signed a "message to generations", which Arthur Abraham, alongside with athletes, placed into the foundation of the sports complex. The total cost of the program is 2.3 billion drams, allocated by the government. The famous boxer had acquired the land for the sports complex several years ago.
The Prime Minister congratulated those present on the groundbreaking ceremony and expressed confidence that it would be completed on time and that the work would meet the highest quality standards.
