Preparations underway for 8th European Political Community Summit  Discussed in Yerevan

ArmInfo. On April 22, Arayik Harutyunyan, Chief of Staff to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, received Alexandra Cole, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to Armenia.

According to the government press service, during the meeting, the  parties discussed preparatory work for the 8th European Political  Community Summit, emphasizing its importance in terms of deepening  political dialogue and cooperation between European countries.

The agenda of reforms underway in Armenia was also touched upon, with  an emphasis on steps taken to strengthen democratic institutions,  improve governance, and ensure the rule of law. In this context,  special attention was paid to the development of bilateral  cooperation and the exchange of experience. The parties confirmed  their readiness to further deepen the partnership between Armenia and  the United Kingdom and emphasized the importance of continuing  high-level dialogue.
