


ArmInfo.Bilateral defense consultations between Armenia and Cyprus, as well as trilateral consultations involving Armenia, Greece, and Cyprus, were held in Cyprus. According to the press service of the Armenian Ministry of Defense, the Armenian delegation was led by Levon Ayvazyan, Head of the Defense Policy and International Cooperation Department at Armenia's Ministry of Defense.
During the consultations, matters of bilateral and trilateral cooperation, as well as future challenges, were discussed. The sides also exchanged views on regional and international security issues, reforms in the defense sector, and other matters of mutual interest.
The parties highly appreciated the progress achieved in recent years. Following the consultations, the heads of the departments responsible for international military cooperation of the three countries signed annual programs. These include both the Armenia–Cyprus bilateral program and the Armenia–Greece–Cyprus trilateral cooperation plan in the field of defense.
