


ArmInfo. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has responded to the shooting incident that occurred at an event attended by the US President.
"Glad to hear that President Donald Trump, First Lady, Vice President, and other attendees are safe and strong after disturbing shooting incident at the White House Correspndens' dinner," Pashinyan wrote on his X account.
Recall, on the evening of April 25, gunshots were fired during the annual White House Correspondents' dinner in Washington, D.C., attended by US President Donald Trump. A man armed with a shotgun and a pistol wounded a security officer but was unable to approach the top officials. The suspected shooter has been detained. According to American media sources, he stated that intended to target high-ranking American officials, but did not specifically name Trump. Attorney General Todd Blanche did not rule out the possibility that the US president could have been one of the shooter's targets.
