
ArmInfo. As part of his visit to Paris, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan held a meeting with the heads of the country's diplomatic missions accredited to European countries and structures.
According to the press service of the Armenian Foreign Ministry, in his opening remarks, Mirzoyan noted that many developments have occurred since the last such meeting in August, 2025, particularly on the European track: in Armenia's relations with the European Union and individual countries.
"Strategic partnerships are being discussed with many countries. In a week, we will also see the signing of a long-discussed document with France. This has, of course, already happened with individual countries in recent months, for example, with Germany. Of course, the titles vary slightly from document to document: in one case, it's an affirmation of a strategic partnership, in another, it's a strategic partnership agenda," Mirzoyan said.
He then touched on the high-level events to be held in Yerevan from May 4-6: the European Political Community and Armenia-EU summits, as well as the Yerevan Dialogue event.
In this context, Vahan Kostanyan, Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia for Coordination of Relations with European Countries, touched on the main agenda of the ECP and Armenia-EU summits, as well as the documents to be signed.
During the meeting, work towards deepening the Armenia-EU partnership, bilateral cooperation with European countries, current programs, and prospects were discussed. Mirzoyan presented the implementation process of regional connectivity programs with Armenia's participation, as well as the work being carried out with international partners to develop a network of economic and transport infrastructure.
Reference was made to the processes of normalizing and developing relations with neighbors was discussed, including steps to institutionalize the peace established between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
Views were exchanged on regional and global developments, as well as current challenges.
