


ArmInfo. During a visit to Bucharest, an Armenian delegation led by Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs (MIA) Armen Mkrtchyan discussed prospects for expanding cooperation between the countries and exchanging best practices with Romanian MIA State Secretary Bogdan Despescu.
According to the press service of the Armenian MIA, the visit was aimed at enhancing institutional cooperation between the countries to implement radical reforms in human resources management system.
As part of the trip, the delegation also visited the Romanian Police Academy. During a meeting with Academy Rector Catalin Andrus, the parties expressed their willingness to expand cooperation in the sphere of education.
According to the source, the visit was organized with financial support from the US government and with the assistance of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in partnership with the Alexandru Ioan Cuza Police Academy of the Romanian Ministry of Internal Affairs.
