


ArmInfo. Armenia and Angola will mutually waive the entry visa requirement for holders of diplomatic passports, service documents, and official documents. The Armenian government approved the signing of the corresponding agreement at its April 30 meeting.
The rationale for the draft resolution notes that the draft Intergovernmental Agreement was submitted by the Angolan side through the Armenian Embassy in the Russian Federation on October 18, 2024. The signing of the agreement, according to the Armenian side, will facilitate high-level working and reciprocal visits, which will contribute to the formation of an agenda for the gradual expansion of relations.
Angola is one of the significant countries in the Southern African region in political and economic terms, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia considers it appropriate to sign this agreement.
