
ArmInfo. In Armenia, more than half of respondents definitely intend to vote in the parliamentary elections in June, according to the results of the "Terz-Blot- Re-Blot" poll conducted by the consulting company MPG.
When asked whether they would vote in the June elections, 57.5% of respondents said yes, another 13.2% said they would rather vote, 8.2% said they would rather not vote, 9.9% said they would definitely not vote, and 11.2% found it difficult to answer. Interestingly, according to the survey, only 60.7% of respondents know the election date, 17.5% gave an incorrect answer, and another 21.8% admitted they don't know the date.
Public opinion on the integrity of the upcoming vote is as follows: definitely fair-26.0%, likely fair- 22.3%; likely to involve falsifications- 20.3%; definitely involve falsifications- 21.1% and undecided -10.5%.
The poll also gauged the public's willingness to protest should the elections be perceived as fraudulent. The results are as follows: 36.6% of respondents said they will definitely do so, another 9.9% said they will probably do so, 10.2% said they will probably not, 39.1% said they will definitely not, and another 4.3% were unsure.
The survey was conducted via telephone calls to residents of the Republic of Armenia between April 27 and 9, 20206. The sample size was 1,101 people, with a margin of error of +/- 3%.
