Politician: Pashinyan`s Crossroads of Peace may ignite regional  conflict

However, none of these  elections will be fatal for the respective countries, and only the  parliamentary elections on June 7 will be crucial for the existence  of the Republic of Armenia. "God forbid that the current ruling party, the Civil Contract,  regains the right to form a government. In that case, it can be  considered that the final act of the sovereign Republic of Armenia  will be "recorded" in the coming years. It can be assumed that  Armenia will face military-political and economic pressure (Russia +  Iran + China) versus (Azerbaijan + Central Asian countries + Turkey +  the collective West). The Crossroads of Peace concocted by the "CC"  will turn into a threat of regional conflict. Follow developments  around Iran and Ukraine and try to analyze this. And it's not hard to  understand that if the "CC" remains in power, a new conflict in the  South Caucasus may emerge. It is not difficult to see that Artsakh  didn't satisfy them; those were just  the first steps in implementing  the pan-Turkic program. The next steps will be likely taken through  Syunik," the politician noted.

He added that with the "CC" re-election, one can be sure that the  security, sovereignty, and territorial integrity of the Republic of  Armenia will once again be seriously questioned. The most serious  consequence of the two previous elections was the cynical annexation  of Artsakh. It became possible based on the results of the 2019 and  2021 elections. Turkey and Azerbaijan won those elections. "Please  don't let them gamble with Armenia's fate in the upcoming elections.  Be sure to go to the polls, make wise choices, and remember that  every vote counts. Remember Artsakh, so that the same fate doesn't  befall Armenia," Artak Zakaryan noted.
