RA, Canadian FMs synchronize bilateral cooperation agenda

ArmInfo.  Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan met with Canadian Foreign Minister Anita Anand in Yerevan. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the 8th  European Political Community Summit, which was held in Yerevan.

According to the press service of the Armenian Foreign Ministry, the two discussed the development of bilateral cooperation in various areas of mutual interest. They particularly emphasized their readiness to develop cooperation in the economic sphere, information technology, renewable energy, as well as business ties and the implementation of specific programs.

Mirzoyan and Anand exchanged views on regional and international developments. The importance of developing regional connectivity was emphasized. The Canadian minister also visited the Tsitsernakaberd memorial to the victims of the Armenian Genocide the day before and paid tribute to the memory of the holy martyrs.
