Macron praises Pashinyan for his European aspirations

ArmInfo. French President Emmanuel Macron praised Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan for his European aspirations.

During discussions at the 8th European Political Community Summit in  Yerevan, Macron said, in part: "I believe Nikol Pashinyan's strategy  toward Armenia in recent years has been very impressive. Let's be  honest, eight years ago, no one would have come here. The fact that  we have so many visits here now is a truly good indicator, because  eight years ago, this country was perceived by the states present at  this table as a 'de facto satellite of Russia.' But Nikol organized a  velvet revolution and decided to neutralize the risks for the  country, and he won as a result. He decided that peace and Europe are  a priority in Armenia's strategy."
