


ArmInfo. Arusyak Julhakyan, a member of the ruling Civil Contract faction in the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, was elected Chairperson of the Parliamentary Committee on State and Legal Affairs by secret ballot.
According to Narek Babayan, Head of the NA Counting Commission, 66 out of 107 MPs participated in the vote, 65 of whom voted in favor of Julhakyan, and one voted against.
The position of Chairperson of the Committee became vacant after its previous head, Vladimir Vardanyan, became a judge of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Armenia.
