Yerevan court releases brother and nephew of  Catholicos of All  Armenians, Karekin II, from house arrest

ArmInfo. A Yerevan court has released the brother of the Catholicos of All Armenians, Gevorg Nersisyan, and his nephew, Hambardzum Nersisyan, from house arrest. The two have been placed under administrative supervision.

Recall, the Catholicos's brother and nephew were detained in  Vagharshapat following a complaint filed by Harutyun Mkrtchyan, a  candidate for the Vagharshapat municipal elections from the Republic  Party, who alleged that Gevorg and Hambardzum Nersisyan were  obstructing their election campaign.
