ArmInfo. No matter how Russia behaves, it has never been an enemy for Armenia, as stated by Narek Karapetyan, a member of the Strong Armenia party council, at a meeting with residents of Agarak, while discussing Russian-Armenian relations.
Meanwhile, according to him, during meetings with residents of various regions, four people have already told them that they were deported from Russia. "The next issue could be trade with Russia. We must understand that no matter how good or bad Russia has treated us, it has never been our enemy. Anyone who considers it an enemy understands nothing about the Turks," Karapetyan concluded.
Recall, since February 5, 2025, a law on the Registry of Controlled Persons has been in effect in Russia, introducing the so-called "expulsion regime." This regime provides for sanctions against foreign citizens who violate stay regulations. Such individuals are entered into the registry, after which their bank accounts are frozen, and any transactions become impossible.
Furthermore, as of March 1, 2026, supplementary amendments were introduced. Specifically, from March 1, 2026, the format for tax authority certificates changed from paper to electronic statements; the absence of such a statement can serve as grounds for including an individual in the registry of controlled persons. Additionally, an individual's name may appear in the registry based on the salary amount specified in a migrant's labor contract or the transfer of large sums from one individual to multiple different families.
