


ArmInfo. Tigran Yenokyan has been appointed Secretary General of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia. The appointment was signed by RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
"Guided by Part 17 of Article 10, Part 1 of Article 16, Clause 1 of Part 1 of Article 17 of the Law 'On Public Service,' and based on Clauses 122 and 128 of the Appendix to the RA Government Resolution of December 27, 2018, Tigran Yenokyan is appointed Secretary General of the Ministry of Internal Affairs," reads the Prime Minister's decision, which was distributed by the government press service.
The document specifies that Yenokyan has a probationary period of 12 months. In this position, he will replace Ara Fidanyan, who was previously appointed as Interpol Liaison Officer at the RA Embassy in the Netherlands.
Previously, Yenokyan served as Deputy Head of the Stolen Asset Recovery Department in the Prosecutor General's Office. At the end of April 2026, as part of a major personnel reshuffle in the Prosecutor's Office, he was transferred to the post of Deputy Head of the Department for Supervision of Cases of Crimes against Public Health.
