


ArmInfo. Forty-four new trolleybuses have arrived in Yerevan. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced this on his Facebook page, posting a video.
The justification for the draft decision on the trolleybus procurement mentioned 45 YUTONG BUS ZK6128BEVG trolleybuses, adapted for transportation of people with disabilities, with 25+3 soft seats, and the capacity to carry at least 85 passengers, all with autonomous controls. The trolleybuses are equipped with heating and cooling systems. The new batch of vehicles will expand the rolling stock of five urban public transport routes and significantly increase the number of users of high-quality ground electric transport services. The development of the trolleybus network will also relieve congestion on some public transport routes, providing safe and reliable transportation for residents using environmentally friendly electric vehicles.
The project was planned to invest 4.3 billion drams. The company currently employs 245 people with an average monthly salary of 375,000 drams. The number of jobs created under the investment program is planned to increase to 280, with an average monthly salary of 391,000 drams. The exemption from customs duties is estimated at 432 million drams.
