ArmInfo. To find inner peace, we must realize: the search for a homeland is over. We have found the homeland of our dreams - and it is the Republic of Armenia. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this on May 19 during his election campaign in the city of Spitak (Lori Province).
He noted that many people subconsciously harbor the desire to return to Van, Mush, Nagorno-Karabakh, Nakhichevan, and other historical sites, which has a psychological impact. "We are beginning to perceive our country as a stopping point." "All of our problems-from me to each of you-are largely linked to the fact that we perceive our country not as a home, but as a temporary stopover," the Prime Minister emphasized.
He described the essence of the political processes being implemented by the government as changing this perception. Addressing his compatriots in Artsakh, Pashinyan noted that they, too, have lived with the feeling of being "at a stopover" in recent years, and the government wants them to find a true home in the Republic of Armenia.
"During elections, everyone must decide for themselves: is Armenia a stopover or a haven? How much destruction, unfinished construction, and unfinished business do you see around you-it's all because of this perception of Armenia as a "stopover,"" the Prime Minister said, calling on people not to look around but to focus on the Republic of Armenia, with its 29,743 square kilometers, and turn it into a paradise for its citizens.
