ArmInfo. Upon coming to power, our first law will be to prevent opportunities for Azerbaijanis in Armenia. Samvel Karapetyan, candidate for Prime Minister of Armenia from the Strong Armenia party, stated this in an interview with  editors of several major media outlets on May 22.

"To prevent the 'Safarovs' from buying or receiving our villages as  gifts - this will be the first law of our government," the politician  emphasized.

He stated that the constitutional amendments proposed by the current  government will bring a number of "surprises" for the Armenian  public. "They are obligated to sell our lands to the Safarovs, so  during the election campaign they are afraid and do not disclose the  upcoming changes to the Constitution," Karapetyan noted.
