Armenian police have impounded approximately 130 vehicles in connection with the country`s Last Bell celebrations

ArmInfo. As part of a heightened security response in connection with the Last Bell celebrations held across the country, the Armenian Ministry of Internal Affairs impounded approximately 130 vehicles, 66 of which were driven by minors.

The ministry's statement noted that to ensure the safety of the Last Bell events, police from the Ministry of Internal Affairs are conducting enhanced security throughout the country.

"As of 4:00 PM on May 22, 129 vehicles participating in the event were towed to specially protected areas, 66 of which were driven by minors," the ministry stated, urging parents not to entrust vehicles to minors to avoid tragedy.
