ArmInfo. Narek Karapetyan, a member of the board of the "Strong Armenia" party, explained why the documents of the leader of the "Strong Armenia" bloc, Samvel Karapetyan, contained the mark "FSB Information Center."
On his Facebook page, Karapetyan published numerous documents containing this mark, explaining that in the 1990s in Russia, specifically in Kaluga, the employment information of citizens born in the 1960s and 1970s who received international passports was recorded in the database as "FSB Information Center." He noted that hundreds of such examples could be found and accused the Armenian authorities of attempting to discredit Samvel Karapetyan.
"Every attempt to discredit a pure person will backfire on those who discredited him. Against a small but mischievous group that is trying to 'create problems'. But change is coming! A strong leader is coming!" the party board member wrote.
As a reminder, the Latvian Insider previously reported that the leader of the "Strong Armenia" bloc, Samvel Karapetyan, is an agent of the Russian FSB, and that Narek Karapetyan holds Russian citizenship. Both figures have denied these claims, yet the government's propaganda machine continues to circulate this news. Moreover, the Investigative Committee of Armenia has opened a criminal case for Narek Karapetyan's concealment of dual citizenship. Notably, the Central Election Commission of Armenia also stated that it had checked Narek Karapetyan's background and found that he does not hold dual citizenship.
