Yerevan and Astana support developing bilateral environmental  cooperation

Արմինֆո. In Astana, Armenian Ambassador Armen Ghevondyan met with Kazakh Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Yerlan Nysanbayev. They confirmed Yerevan and Astana's mutual commitment to developing bilateral environmental cooperation, including through exchanging experiences and exploring the possibility of implementing joint projects.

According to the press service of the Armenian Embassy in Kazakhstan, 
Ghevondyan also briefed Nysanbayev on the preparations and concept 
for the Conference of the Parties to the UN Convention on Biological 
Diversity (COP17), scheduled for October 2026 in Armenia.
