Former Armenian Defense Minister commends Samvel Karapetyan`s  assistance to  army during  44-day war

ArmInfo.  Former Armenian Defense Minister David Tonoyan has confirmed that businessman and leader of the Strong Armenia party Samvel Karapetyan, provided  assistance to the Armenian military during the 44-day war in 2020  around Artsakh.

 "The provided assistance was comprehensive I cannot specify the  exact areas where it was deployed, but it was certainly used. During  the war, the Armed Forces spent between $3 million and $30 million  daily, according to various estimates. The ssistance provided by  various individuals was directed toward fulfilling various  operational tasks. I prefer not to specify particular areas, as that  would be inappropriate. However, I want to emphasize that the  assistance from everyone is worthy of appreciation, including,  specifically, that of Samvel Karapetyan," the former defense minister  stated when asked to clarify whether Samvel Karapetyan had indeed  financed the entire food supply sector for the Armenian military  during the 2020 44-day war.

Tonoyan also added that he had personally negotiated with Samvel  Karapetyan on certain issues.
