ArmInfo. The preventive measure for Imnemnimi podcast co- host Vazgen Saghatelyan has been changed from house arrest to administrative supervision, as reported by Saghatelyan's lawyer, Arsen Babayan. "The court applied administrative supervision as a preventive measure, prohibiting Vazgen from making public appearances," Babayan wrote on Facebook.
Recall, bloggers Narek Samsonyan and Vazgen Saghatelyan were arrested on November 13, 2025, in Yerevan. On the same day, the office of the AntiFake.am editorial office was searched, and all equipment was confiscated. They were detained on the basis of a complaint from the Speaker of the Armenian Parliament, Alen Simonyan, for allegedly using obscene language. The investigation accuses them of hooliganism.
Notably, this legal action followed an incident where Simonyan was the first to insult the podcast hosts in a post on his Facebook page, after which they responded to him. On January 9, the court extended the detention of the Imnemnimi podcast hosts for another three months, after which Narek Samsonyan declared an indefinite hunger strike in protest of an unfair trial. A week after the hunger strike, Samsonyan began experiencing health problems and was taken to the Izmirlyan Medical Center. On March 24, the house arrest imposed on political prisoner Narek Samsonyan was replaced by administrative supervision with a ban on public speaking. Saghatelyan was transferred to house arrest on April 2.
