ArmInfo. The Anti-Corruption Committee of Armenia conducted searches at the Armenia bloc's election headquarters, particularly in Ashtarak, as well as at the apartment of Ashot Simonyan, Chairman of the ARF Dashnaktsutyun (ARF) Supreme Body. This was reported on Facebook by Ishkhan Saghatelyan, a representative of the ARF Supreme Body and a member of the Armenia bloc.
The member of parliament expressed his conviction that such actions are an attempt to restrict and hinder the activities of the opposition forces' election headquarters and to exert pressure on the political force's supporters and voters. "But nothing will come of it. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan-you and the legal system that serves you-have long been predictable," Saghatelyan stated.
The opposition leader believes that all these actions are driven by fear of losing power. He called on international observers to pay attention to what is happening and assess it accordingly. "And I want to assure our supporters and the Armenian people that they will not be able to maintain their power through such methods. Therefore, I urge you to continue your work, ignore what is happening, and in just four or five days, this regime will come to an end (parliamentary elections in Armenia on June 7 - ed.)," Saghatelyan concluded.
