ArmInfo. Supporters of Samvel Karapetyan's "Strong Armenia" party have launched a pre-election march under the banner "On the Path to Change." Departing from the Mergelyan Research Institute, the demonstrators are heading toward Republic Square, where the party is scheduled to host a major campaign rally this evening at 7:00 PM.
The party's supporters noted that the campaign has entered a critical phase, with the march serving to raise awareness across the capital regarding the party's platform and legislative goals. Mamikon Aslanyan, the former mayor of Vanadzor and a parliamentary candidate for the party, noted that a climate of political indifference currently grips the country, and that such grassroots movements aim to restore public confidence. "We brought this momentum to Yerevan from the regions, and now, from the capital, we are transmitting this wave of change back to the regions," Aslanyan stated.
It should be noted that prior to the main procession, dozens of party activists held localized rallies across Yerevan to mobilize voters. Walking through the city streets, participants informed citizens about the rally and urged them to gather at Republic Square, chanting slogans such as "Change is Number 3" and backing Karapetyan for the premiership. "Don't stay home—come to Republic Square and secure the future of our country," one participant announced. "Armenia requires a strong leader capable of defending the interests of its people. Be part of this movement for change."
