ArmInfo. The "Strong Armenia" party is prepared for any scenario, according to a statement posted on Facebook by the party's spokesperson, Marianna Ghahramanyan. Her remarks come in response to the pro-Western Republic Party, led by Aram Sargsyan, submitting an application to the Central Electoral Commission (CEC) demanding the annulment of Samvel Karapetyan's "Strong Armenia" bloc registration for the country's upcoming parliamentary elections on June 7.
The party spokesperson expressed her conviction that these actions are driven by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's realization that he is losing power.
"Pashinyan understands that he is losing power, which is why he has resorted to a show organized by his satellite forces. The stronger we become, the greater the fears of this small group grow. We are prepared for all scenarios. All of this will be over in two days. Pashinyan, who lost during the live broadcast on the Public Television of Armenia, will soon lose the elections as well. A strong Armenia is coming," Ghahramanyan wrote.
Earlier, it was reported that the Central Election Commission would review the submitted application at 10:00 PM.
