ArmInfo. The Wings of Unity Party intends to continue the fight to restore justice in Armenia. This is what the party's representative, former Chairman of the RA State Revenue Committee, David Ananyan, writes.
"Our relative silence is not a pause or a retreat. This is a stage when the most important decisions and the most intensive work are carried out behind the scenes. Currently, we are focused on the most serious legal and political work related to the electoral processes - from the recount of votes in Yerevan and several regional electoral districts to assessing all possible scenarios for future developments," noted David Ananyan.
He emphasized that one thing is already clear: Wings of Unity has emerged as an influential political force, and this reality can no longer be ignored. "And our role in the upcoming political processes will be determined not only by our actions, but also by the overall political developments expected in the country. The situation in Armenia is still far from resolved. Complex, decisive, and possibly turning points await us. Therefore, at this stage, more than ever, perseverance, inner strength, organization, and readiness for any scenario are needed. We are working, we have not retreated, our struggle continues," the former head of the State Revenue Committee wrote.
As a reminder, parliamentary elections were held in Armenia on June 7, 2026. Voter turnout was 58.97%.
According to preliminary data from Armenia's Central Election Commission, after counting votes from all 2,005 polling stations, Nikol Pashinyan's ruling Civil Contract party, Samvel Karapetyan's Strong Armenia bloc, and second president Robert Kocharyan's Armenia bloc have all qualified for parliament. The remaining candidates scored below the required threshold of 4% for parties and 8-10% for blocs.
