ArmInfo. The main goal of the Armenian authorities should be to create a qualitatively new state. RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this at a government meeting on June 11.
According to him, achieving this goal should be a continuation of the RA government's mission. The state, Pashinyan stated, is a means of ensuring the security and well-being of citizens. The government's five-year program will be developed soon, and it is expected to be approved by the National Assembly after the cabinet's composition is confirmed. Prior to this, the Prime Minister noted, an attempt will be made to hold informal discussions on planning future work. The good news, he noted, is that, unlike previous years, when work had to be done under extraordinary circumstances, this time the discussions will be conducted in a more relaxed manner.
Pashinyan emphasized the importance of consistency in the implementation of previously approved programs, and for this reason, it is necessary to analyze the previous period, identifying areas of work that need to be intensified and those that need to be eliminated. Thus, the Prime Minister continued, the new program, unlike the previous one, must present a clear list of priorities, although, as Pashinyan acknowledged, no program in history has ever been 100% implemented, as situations and circumstances are constantly changing. "In our previous program, the priority of priorities was achieving peace, which we ultimately achieved. Now it is crucial to determine a new priority of priorities," the head of government said.
