


ArmInfo.One of the outstanding masters of cinematography, six- time Oscar nominee Bruno Delbonnel, will be the guest of honor at the Golden Apricot Film Festival.
According to the festival's official Facebook page, Delbonnel helped shape the visual identity of many masterpieces of world cinema, distinguished by a unique sense of light and exceptional delicacy of imagery from Alexander Sokurov's Faust to Amelie and the Harry Potter films.
Delbonnel has collaborated with such acclaimed directors as the Coen brothers, Wes Anderson, and Tim Burton.
According to the source, the cinematographer will be awarded the Parajanov Thaler award for his outstanding contribution to cinema.
The Golden Apricot Film Festival has been held in Yerevan since 2004 and is considered one of the most prestigious in the region. Its founders are Harutyun Khachatryan, Mikael Stamboltsyan, and Susanna Harutyunyan. The festival's director and artistic director is Karen Avetisyan. In March of this year, it was announced that the Yerevan International Film Festival Golden Apricot has joined the International Federation of Film Producers Associations (FIAPF). It's worth noting that of the more than 5,000 film festivals held worldwide, only about 50 are recognized by this organization. This year, The festival kicks off on July 12 and runs until July 19.
