Artsakh Monuments: Azerbaijani authorities commit another act of vandalism

ArmInfo.The Azerbaijani authorities have committed another act of vandalism, according to a report by the historical environment protection organization Artsakh Monuments. 

Based on an analysis of satellite imagery captured between April 19, 2024, and July 15, 2025, the Azerbaijani regime demolished a khachkar (cross-stone) in the Karabakh village of Aygestan. The khachkar was dedicated to the freedom fighters who lost their lives in the Artsakh Liberation War. Additionally, the vandals destroyed a historical monument honoring village residents who died during World War II (the Great Patriotic War).
