


ArmInfo. Armenia and Bulgaria discussed developing cooperation in social protection and labor migration. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, citing the meeting between Deputy Minister Lusine Kocharyan, Bulgarian Ambassador to Armenia Nikola Nikolov, and Executive Director of the Bulgarian branch of the Center for Entrepreneurship and Management Development Stanislav Chervenkov.
The parties also discussed labor market trends and a number of issues related to labor migration. Deputy Minister Lusine Kocharyan noted that significant changes have occurred in Armenia's labor market in recent years, and the country is gradually transforming from an exporter of labor to an importer.
She emphasized that the Armenian side is ready to further develop cooperation and implement new joint initiatives with Bulgaria.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to continue working together to develop economic and labor ties.
