


ArmInfo. Armenian Ambassador to Bulgaria Tsovinar Hambardzumyan met with Bulgarian Deputy Foreign Minister Ivanka Tasheva to discuss prospects for developing and deepening bilateral relations in priority areas of mutual interest.
According to the press service of the Armenian Embassy in Bulgaria, the issues were discussed in the context of the strategic partnership between Bulgaria and Armenia, concluded in May 2026. The interlocutors also discussed prospects for deepening cooperation between Armenia and the European Union.
Tasheva noted that Bulgaria highly values Armenia's consistent commitment to European values and the implementation of democratic reforms, despite the challenging security situation and the complex regional and geopolitical context. The Bulgarian side confirmed its readiness to share its experience with the Armenian side in support of Armenia's European path. It should be noted that on May 3 of this year, Bulgarian President Iliana Yotova, who was visiting Yerevan to participate in the 8th summit of the European Political Community (EPC), and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan signed a joint declaration on strategic partnership following talks in the Armenian capital.
