ArmInfo. The list of high-demand license plates available for purchase without an auction now includes combinations featuring the digit "0" in the numerical segment, alongside one or more repeating digits combined with identical or different Latin letters.
As reported to ArmInfo by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, these adjustments to the criteria for high-demand vehicle license plates were initiated by the Ministry based on an assessment of public demand.
It is noted that the order issued by the Minister of Internal Affairs, establishing the pricing for assigning high-demand license plates that meet the new standards, entered into force on July 23, 2026. "Individuals and legal entities will be able to acquire the primary usage rights for such plates at a fixed price without participating in an auction. Prices range from 250,000 to 8 million drams, depending on the specific combination of numbers and letters. These regulatory changes establish a comprehensive legal framework for issuing these new high-demand plate combinations, making the acquisition process both accessible and streamlined," the Armenian MIA concluded.
