ArmInfo. In the first half of 2026, the number of individual cases resolved positively thanks to the Human Rights Defender's intervention nearly doubled. This was reported in a statement by the Ombudsman's Office on its official Facebook page.
According to the source, in the first half of 2025, positive decisions were made on 665 complaints, while for the same period in 2026, this figure reached 1,047. This represents a twofold increase compared to the previous year.
"The Human Rights Defender continues to consistently work to protect citizens' rights, facilitating the restoration of violated rights and the resolution of systemic problems," the statement reads.
