


ArmInfo. The National Cinema Center of Armenia, with financial support from the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia (MoESCS), has announced a competition for state grant funding in the field of cinematography for the year 2026.
The competition aims to support the production of short and feature-length films in fiction, documentary, and animation categories.
The ministry's total financial support budget amounts to more than 272 million AMD.
State funding accounts for 35% of the budget for short films, totaling approximately 95 million AMD. For feature-length films, the state share is 65%, which equals around 177 million AMD.
Applications will be accepted for 30 calendar days. Simultaneously, the National Cinema Center of Armenia is launching an open call to expand its database of independent specialists. Experts selected through this competitive process may be included in the evaluation jury.
