Hajiyev stated that the most important issue before a peace agreement is the Armenian Constitution, saying, "We believe that after amendments to the Armenian Constitution or the adoption of a new constitution, there will be no obstacles for us."

Emphasizing that a de facto peaceful atmosphere exists between the two countries today, Hajiyev said, "Sometimes there are peace agreements between states on paper, but there is no peace on the ground." Today, peace in the true sense of the word reigns between Azerbaijan and Armenia, and we continue to strengthen it."

Noting that the Zangezur Corridor is the most important topic on Azerbaijan's agenda, Hajiyev outlined the technical details of the project as follows: "Construction of the rail and road line from Baku to Zangilan has reached the final stage. Companies from Turkey are also actively working in this area. We plan to complete the Azerbaijani portion by mid-2026. The second segment is what we call the 'Trump Corridor.' The US and Armenia are working together. We are waiting for the project to begin. The third segment is Nakhchivan. There are 188 kilometers of rail and road lines, but modernization is necessary. We are planning new work on this line. The final section is the Kars-Diluku line on the Turkish side. Turkey announced that the project will begin in August."

Gadzhiev emphasized that the implementation of this corridor will create a new trade and transport line in Eurasia, as well as a new global connection from Central Asia to Turkish ports via the Caucasus, adding: "This project will change the face of the region."
