


ArmInfo. The Kyivyan bridge will reopen to traffic in the coming days, ahead of schedule, as reported by the Mayor's Office press service.
According to the source, the top asphalt concrete layer has been laid on the bridge; sidewalks on both sides have been paved; new galvanized railings have been installed; drainage and waterproofing systems have been restored and installed; expansion joints have been repaired; electrical cables have been removed from the light poles and moved to inspection shafts located under the sidewalk.
The Mayor's Office reports that after the opening of the roadway, the remaining major repairs to the bridge will continue. "The main goal of all work carried out as part of the bridge's major overhaul is to improve traffic safety and provide safer and more comfortable conditions for citizens," the source said.
