


ArmInfo. The Central Electoral Commission of Armenia has approved the schedule for local government elections to be held on October 25 of this year.
Proportional elections will be held on October 25, 2026, in the following settlements: Artashat in the Ararat region, Armavir, Araks in the Armavir region, Gavar, Martuni, Vardenis in the Gegharkunik region, Hrazdan, Tsaghkadzor, Garni in the Kotayk region, Artik, Akhuryan in the Shirak region, Goris, Meghri in the Syunik region, Yeghegnadzor, Vayk, Jermuk in the Vayots Dzor region, Ijevan, Dilijan in the Tavush region, Stepanavan in the Lori region, as well as majoritarian elections in the settlements of Fioletovo in the Lori region and Shamiram in the Aragatsotn region.
In the case of elections held under the proportional electoral system, parties and party alliances may submit the documents required for registering electoral lists to the relevant election commission by 6:00 PM on September 20, and the registration of electoral lists of parties and party alliances will be carried out From September 20 to 25, until 6:00 PM. For elections held under the majoritarian electoral system, documents required for candidate registration may be submitted to the relevant electoral commission from September 20 to 25, until 6:00 PM.
Candidate registration for the majoritarian electoral system will be available from September 25 to 30, 2026, until 6:00 PM.
