A workshop for the restoration and conservation of museum valuables has opened in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin.

ArmInfo. On October 2, a ceremonial opening of a workshop for the restoration and conservation of museum valuables took place at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin.

According to the press office of the Armenian Apostolic Church (AAC), the workshop, founded at the initiative of His Holiness Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II in the premises of the Alex and Marie Manoogian Treasury, was equipped with the necessary equipment through the Japanese government's "Grassroots" cultural grant program with the support of the Embassy of Japan in Armenia and the Armenian General Benevolent Union (AGBU).

According to the source, the workshop's activities will expand the display of the museum collections of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, duly presenting the spiritual and cultural treasures in the collections to the public.
