ArmInfo. Iran's tough stance has helped Armenia maintain its territorial integrity in many cases, Narek Karapetyan, leader of the Strong Armenia parliamentary faction, said in a conversation with journalists after a meeting with the Iranian ambassador to the country.

"The Islamic Republic of Iran is a neighboring country for us, a friendly one, and its opinion is very important to us. Iran's tough stance has helped us maintain our territorial integrity in many cases," Karapetyan said, when asked by journalists whether this meeting with the Iranian diplomat would influence their faction's position on the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP) project. The government is expected to submit the TRIPP bill to parliament for ratification soon.
